Good: Plays almost all type of media formats

Bad: Switching it off is paining

Comment: CNET review is correct, looks like this player is designed by IT.
The good is, the response time for playing media is fast, it plays most off the current media formats.
Unlikely the sound quality is slightly different compared when i use my laptop to play the same movie, or may be i'm having different laptop sound equalizer..i'll check latter.
The player it self is not provided with manual button to stop,play or powering the device, some how this button will be useful when the remote is out of battery or if there is a problem with the remote.
Another is when i want to switch off the player, for the 1st time i must disconnect the power cable directly as the player is hangging on 'loading' statement, but after several trying I have recognized that after i push the power button i have to wait for around 2-3 minutes then i shall press the power button again to completely switch it off. I need to confirm it again with others, may be because I dont know how to powering down the device :D the manual provided in the box doesnot mention anything about this.

But moreover, the price given is really reasonable for this 1TB media player. I hope Toshiba can fix the 'inconvenience' on the next updated firmware.
