Good: Cute box and input/outputs. Remote is passable. Comes with it's own HDMI cable
Bad: No instructions on the proper use of the remote. You can't tell if the CAPS button is on or off. There's no power control on the remote. The "cursor" buttons on the other side of the QWERTY keys should be replaced by a touch pad, they're a pain to navigate with just like the arrow keys on the other side. Expensive.
Comment: I wish I had read the review first before I bought this box. It's nearing the end of 2012 and the same issues still exist from the time CNET made the review. Serious D-Link engineers would've resolved the problems and improved the firmware by now if there was comparable competition.
Maybe I'm a whiner too but if manufacturers want my business, they'll listen to the needs of whiners like me and improve their product(s).
For the price of the BB, I would recommend waiting for the next version or generation OR wait for an improved competing equivalent device.

Comment: I disagree with your review and it makes me feel you guys are just trying to find excuses to give this great product a bad review...it doesn't make you a good critique, it just makes you a whiner!
I love my boxee, it does everything I need and want. Only thing I have issue with is the lags while playing 1080p content only on wireless connection.
