Good: Sound

Bad: Picture and price

Comment: When I was first looking to by a 26" lcd every one said get the 26wlt66, its the best... so I did and I was very disappointed it was unbearable, the picture was such a letdown for the price. It was the second most expensive to the Sony so I thought it would be a good tv but what a mistake. Picture blacks were very grey and sometimes green pixcils were all clumped together in fast shots and in a normal viewing like Hollyoaks so I had no option to buy another and I bought a Samsung le27s73bdx. I am so impressed with the blacks and vibrant colours I recommend that tv instead.

Good: Picture, connections, price, features

Bad: Sound

Comment: Brilliant TV with wide-ranging connections for a very good price compared to more expensive rivals.

Good: The way the TV loaded up automatically. The hardest bit was getting it out of the box!

Bad: I could do with more aid regarding picture and sound controls - can anyone help me with this?

Comment: It is superb and thanks for your help in making this choice. I did not realise how antiquated my old set was. Great Xmas present to myself!

Good: Quality, picture, price

Bad: Sliding switch on remote, no wall-mount

Comment: Just returned a Medion MD20099, as it was faulty. The picture here is a hell of a lot better, it cycles between inputs much faster (and one-key on the remote). Don't use the sound.
Too many set-up options - colour, sharpness etc. I can't get the balance right!

Bad: Nothing so far!

Comment: This is a really great TV that links up with home entertainment equipment and provides an excellent viewing experience. Recommended.

Good: Brightness, sharpness, audio quality

Bad: Slight delay in controller keypresses to actions

Comment: The only thing I can knock with this TV is the slight delay from the remote control presses to the resulting action. Other than that, it's a marvellous TV. Great picture quality - sharp and bright. The integrated freeview is really worth it (saves on a remote and the integrated is much better than our existing stand-alone box). All in all, a great TV. Oh, and the sound is remarkable - gives incredibly rich bass and wide sound - I can't understand how it manages it with such seemingly small speakers! A great TV!

Good: Excellent picture, good sound and the smart appearance of the set itself

Bad: I would have been happier if the analogue tuner had been digital, giving the set 2 digital tuners. This would have made it more future-proof.

Comment: Brilliant product. I also bought the SW1000 subwoofer. This has added a pleasing extension to the bass end.

Good: Stylish and modern design. Stunning HD picture quality. Freeview and DVDs also excellent.

Bad: Average sound quality. Cheap feeling remote control.

Comment: Agonised over this purchase but now it's sitting in the corner it looks fantastic! The wife wouldn't have it on the wall. Freeview picture is very good even with my old arial in the loft. The picture quality with HD is truly stunning and DVDs look great too. Toshiba should have spent more time and effort on the remote. It just feels cheap and a bit slippy to touch. Sound quality at low volume is only average but it seems to improve if you turn her up a bit. Overall I'm a happy chappy.
