Good: Practically everything
Bad: Next models feature 100 Hz, Bravia Pro, digital amplifier and a much higher contrast
Comment: I have the 40" model, which features all the specs of the 46, even Full HD (1080p). The CNET review only confirms the feelings I had about this Sony. It was too expensive at the time (3 years ago, more than 2000 €), but in 2010 it is light years away from recent models. When I see HD broadcasts in stores (especially Samsungs) and go home to see mine, there's no comparison - crispy, detailed, clean, smooth images. Of course I'm tempted by new designs and better specs, but I'm keeping this Bravia for now. Maybe the new Bravia HX or NX series will make me change my mind.

Good: Excellent response to remote, unlike the Sharp Aquos
Bad: Clear outer frame which defracts light and distorts view
Comment: Excellent Freeview picture, first-class DVD picture (with top class DVDs). Pity we have to wait for the BBC to go HD. After buying this TV we cannot afford Sky. Though the TV price seems to have dropped a lot since August 2006. If your room is big enough, it's a bargain.
