Good: Everything
Bad: Nothing
Comment: I have just bought this, it's brilliant - picture, sound and connections. It's the best LCD, don't bother with anything else. Thanks Sony.

Good: It's crystal clear, the sound is spot on, it's a great all rounder and everything I expected from Sony.
Bad: Nothing
Comment: I can't say that there is a single thing that I can complain about.

Good: Deep blacks, beautiful colours
Bad: Only one HDMI connection
Comment: The picture produced by this TV is stunning. If anything, it is too vivid out of the box. In my opinion the picture is improved by using the custom settings and toning down the contrast and backlight. Coupled with the Sony HxD 860 DVD recorder via the HDMI input you can really begin to appreciate the potential of this screen.

Good: Stunning looks and superb picture quality
Bad: Only one hdmi is mean at this price
Comment: I viewed this TV against the usual suspects - Panasonic, Toshiba, Philips and Samsung. The build quality was far better with the Sony - then you turn it on!
I was worried it wouldn't match top-end CRT picture quality but this TV excels in this area. I haven't seen it with a HD signal yet (component video only) but the picture is truly vibrant. My parents have HD and the KDL-32S - displays HD in spectacular fashion - I can't wait to see the 32V!
For what most people would use this TV for - Sky/Freeview - the picture is still stunning. When you connect to component it's like going from Analogue to digital all over again.
In summary a fantastic picture with no real flaws... and Christmas deals are just around the corner...

Good: Picture quality, ease of use, features & settings, looks stylish
Bad: Only one HDMI input
Comment: Picture quality with both HD inputs and standard def is the best I've seen yet on a HDTV. The contrast on this HDTV is spectacular as dark colours are so pronounced that it makes viewing such a pleasure, and that's just with default picture settings; once you delve into the picture settings for the analogue/digital pictures as well as each individual AV input, you can get near perfect standard-def pictures (with no artefacts), and gorgeous pictures in HD. The 1080i scaling is handled very well on top of that as well.
The downside is the one HDMI input, which really shouldn't be much of a problem anyway as the majority of people, I'd imagine, will only have one device capable of a HDMI output anyway, if any at all. If you do have more than one, then you can easily add an HDMI switcher to do the job.
All in all, after much searching for the "right HDTV", I chose this one - since having it, the high price I paid for it I most definitely regard as money very well spent.
