Good: looks, picture initially
Bad: Purple haze, or "purple snakes" as is commonly known as
Comment: Loved the TV initially, brilliant picture, easy to use, looks great, but after 8 months or so the picture started to contain what i can only describe as a purple haze around certain objects. On further investigation it seems there is a software issue with this model (and others) that panasonic have acknowledged that requires an upgrade, which according to some who have had it doesnt always work and can have an even more negative effect. Doesnt start to happen until you have had TV for a while. Im disappointed.

Good: Stunning SD and HD images. What else do we need?
Bad: Plastics' feel, sound could be "deeper".
Comment: Just bought this TV after a long search. Waited for 3-4 months to see prices dropping. I still believe that no LCD is capable of producing better pictures than this one (especially on SD programs). My only consideration was that it's not Full-HD but I had to pay at least £700 more for a descent 1080p LCD. My other choice was Hitachi 9700 but this was more expensive as well, without being better than this beauty! Although an old model now, it still has the best picture for the money! Note, that it has the same panel with the 600 series. Their only changes are the better speakers of the latter and the SD card slot. Excellent!

Good: The price I got it for - £1099 including the cabinet stand, the amazing picture and the two HDMI Ports
Bad: Nothing
Comment: This TV is truly amazing, and I think that everyone should have one. The picture is superb even without it being hooked up to a HD source, so i really can't wait until we get Sky HD and a PS3.

Good: Superb picture quality, especially from the DVD via component.
Bad: Difficult to get the hang of switching between external sources
Comment: While doing my research this one stood out from the crowd, and I haven't been disappointed. Lovely picture, good sound and it make watching movies a real pleasure.

Good: Great picture quality and sound
Bad: Nothing
Comment: This is one of the best plasma TVs that I have seen in the market today within the £2000 price range. The picture quality is the best of all, the sound is fantastic and the setup and the menu options are very good. Panasonic really proves that they are the best in Plasma by making this TV. The connectivity is great with two HDMI sockets. The digital TV is great even with a normal aerial wire. The DVD picture is second to none and Panasonic have really done it very well. It has a very high 10,000:1 contrast ratio showing deep blacks very well. I would recommend this TV to anyone who is a real technology freak. I have not seen any HD on this TV, but I guess it would be even better.

Good: Twin HDMI, Freeview, picture quality
Bad: No digital audio I/O and no multiwindow for when I want to keep an eye on the CCTV
Comment: Connect a HTPC, gaming console (Xbox 360 or PS3) and Sky HD or Telewest TV-Drive, and a decent home cinema system for digital sound... and you're laughing.
This piece of art will up-convert standard definiton to Hi-def. The best thing is the way it handles 1080p sources - very future proof.
I like the Freeview, it's very important for when the UK goes digital broadcasting from 2008-2012.

Bad: Nothing
Comment: The best plasma on the market for the £2000 budget range

Good: Picture quality and ease of setup and use
Bad: Sound quality
Comment: Excellent product for the price. I nearly spent a lot more money on the TH42PV500 and was on the verge of buying it when they released the TH42PX60B. Side by side I think the PX60 is a better picture (although I still like the styling on the PV500). Sound quality is slightly better on the PV500 but on a screen like this you want to use an external sound system anyway so who cares. The PX60 is cheaper than the PV500 - can't fathom out why though. Unless you particularly want an SD card slot (which the PV500 has) go for the PX60.

Good: Excellent Freeview tuner, stunning HD image with Xbox 360, fantastic colours and blacks
Bad: It isn't cheap, but got a free DVD recorder, £150 worth of cables, £200 off and interest-free credit
Comment: The picture on this was better than any other screen I looked at. The freeview tuner is better than I thought it would be - the tv images are very good and I live in a weak signal area. Obviously the DVD picture is fantastic, as is the HD output from my Xbox 360 - if someone could tell me whether it should be 720p or 1080i that would be great but both work and both look fantastic, (I think the 1080i has a slight flicker to it).
This is the best screen I could find - it even comes with a decent wall bracket. Superb!
