Good: Picture Quality
Bad: Obsolescence
Comment: I own two Panasonic plasmas, one from 2008 the other 2010 but I won't buy another one. Panasonic provides great panels but they provide very little if any software updates in the future. It seems to me that it is a deliberate policy to have built in obsolescence to drive future demand. They completely ignore customer feedback on this issue. Samsung and Sony make TVs that are pretty close in picture quality and they provide ongoing updates to their users.
Observer the switch from Viera Cast to Viera Connect and good luck with getting Netflix on your 2010 Viera Cast TV. No doubt LoveFilm will be added to the next generation TV when they switch to Viera Link or some such and obsolete Viera Connect.
