Good: picture quality, 3D, remote
Bad: no camera included
Comment: I havent even had the tv for 24 hours and already i am super pleased. The tv simply accepts 1080p signals via HDMI so the PQ does not show any difference from other TV sets. The 3D quality and the magic remote with voice recognition blew me out of the water. Although I expected that since it is a Skype ready TV, there would be a built in camera on it but it is sold separately. But this does not disappoint me that much as I use other program on my PC and the Skype on my smartphone when I videoconference with my girlfriend
Comment: This TV has one of the best and clearest picture I have yet seen. The 3D is amazing and doesn't give me strained eyes. If you have the money I would totally recommend this product. This TV has very good design, energy efficiency, and a reasonable price.
Good: Picture, contrast ratio, and sound are great.
Bad: Very thin so handle carefully.
Comment: The LG 55LM660T LED edge lit HDTV is the best product for its price in the market. With a razor sharp crystal clear picture, the best passive 3D TV is available with wireless connectivity, limitless apps, and 3rd party video content providers.
Good: Nice frame and looks like a household furniture.
Bad: May be but not certain.
Comment: I’ve seen and tested this TV in several occasions and the three attributes (colour, thin frame, and picture quality) that were tested all had satisfactory results. I’m convinced it’s not enough to jump into conclusions to come off as the best in the market but it's definitely worth getting IMO.
Good: Very nice design
Bad: Needs to be handled with care.
Comment: I’ve got a firsthand experience with this TV set and from every indication the television is worth recommending. The thin frame really reflects the quality and reliability of the TV. I was impressed with the stainless silver stand which fits in pretty well with the TV itself. From design to the picture quality, all the features were just amazing and there wasn’t any down side IMO.
Comment: terrycb also working for LG???? the picture quality is not good......
Good: picture quality superb
Bad: nothing to date (after 3 weeks of having it)
Comment: Did a lot of research and decided we wanted passive 3d and 55" or larger, so that narrowed the choice somewhat (Panasonic now have a passive 3d which i believe uses LG screen)- almost went for that but reading reviews here and from the US( where model number is slightly different) the LG won in the end.
Previously had a 55" LG Plasma (not 3d) and feel that the 660 is a much sharper and brighter picture.
Some of the LG 3D samples are a bit naff but we've seen some good programmes from Sky and BluRay 3D is amazing.
At the moment we're delighted with our choice
Comment: Maybe Anthony is working for LG :-(
Good: almost everything but picture quality
Bad: picture quality, its like a mirror
Comment: I had to return my LG 55LM660S because of (in my opinion) very bad picture quality. My old Pioneer 50" from 2006 has a much better picture quality. I am very disappointed. How come that cnet.com's review of the LG 55LM6700 is 2 1/2 stars, and cnet.co.uk gives LG 55LM660T 4 1/2 stars. Very odd....!!!???
Comment: I had Sony 55HX853 but we had to return it because back then we didn’t do our research very much and had no idea what passive and active was. When we visited the store again to return Sony one in exchange of LG 55LM660T, the salesman enlightened my family by explaining the difference between passive and active 3D technology. Ah, no wonder why our eyes hurt so bad. Now that we have this new LG one, everyone is happy. This has nicer design and it is so much easier on the eyes. We are glad that we finally landed on this one. 120% happy and highly recommended!
