Good: looks, colors and 3D
Comment: Installation is easy, wonderful 3D picture, Plex works excellent.
It plays DivX, Xvid etc.
Good: Overall 2D and 3D performance
Bad: Better than my current LG TV
Comment: I had been researching 3D TVs for over a year before I saw this TV. Plasma had my vote as lack of deep black levels was something that was very noticeable for me on my last two televisions. I viewed a passive set in 3D from LG and was quite impressed. It has decent sound and intuitive remote control. 2D and 3D picture are amazing so here I'm writing a positive review about it
Comment: I like the idea of bringing OnLive to the application list. I read some news about LG making deal with OnLive so that users can enjoy cloud gaming on LG TVs. There won’t be need for PS3 in like 5 years probably as TVs are becoming strong enough to perform their roles.
Good: Design and picture quality
Bad: Don't know, hopfully none
Comment: @millsey Design isn’t only the good part in this TV, the VT50 actually can't compete with this TV. I have seen them side by side and LG's one was a lot better.
Good: Amazing deep black levels and rich contrasts, accurate color, awesome 3D performance, perfect images and a rich smart TV features.
Bad: The price is just around average.
Comment: I was there live at CES-2012 when LG showcased the 47LM960V 3D TV as one of their top model of TVs. From what I gathered, the 47LM960V 3D TV model uses a Nano Full LED which consists of a grid of LED lights positioned behind the display in a way that they can be individually dimmed to deepen the TV's black levels. I equally noticed that LG 3D TVs were distinct from other TV brands thanks to its passive 3D technology. Now, with this passive 3D technology, LG was able to produce glasses that were really cheap, weightless, flicker free and comfortable to wear. The good news is that when you purchase a LG 3D TV, you’re entitled to five free pairs of passive 3d glasses to share with other friends.
Bad: uniformity, clouding, halo, blacks
Comment: How can it get 5 stars when the VT50 has just murdered it in your own comparison tests?
