Good: Nothing much
Bad: The sound quality was awful
Comment: Kogan should get their own house in order before criticising others.
It's been a week since I contacted Kogan after my TV/DVD went phuttt and nobody has had the courtesy to reply to me despite sending several e mails.
In the absence of a tel number to speak to a human being, my next step is to threaten them with the Distance Selling Act.

Bad: The performance, the after sales service and the service when it breaks down
Comment: My son convinced me to purchase one of these and the price was attractive. Our expectations were low because it was so cheap and we were not dissapointed in these low expectations. The sound is very very poor and impossible to listen to so expect to attach your own speakers. The picture quality is equally poor and the HD really not worth it. But where the shockingly poor performance really comes into its own is when the TV breaks as ours did after two months. You cannot speak to a service representative and have to e-mail, Then be prepared to wait for a sporadic response. They arranged for a pick up on a Monday, waited in all day and no company turned up. got an email offering another day and once again waited in all day with no pick up. Eventually they turned up on the third possible day and then my TV somehow managed to develop some damage on the frame during delivery which I had to pay for (£35.00). Please please do not purchase this item, you will be sorry you did. We have the TV back now and have written it off as a bad mistake.
Good: Picture quality, Cost
Bad: Audio, I/O, Remote
Comment: Bought for cost rather than quality and that's exactly what I got.
Impressed with most of the features and what it can do but does have too few inputs/outputs but on the whole is OK!
My TV went faulty after a couple of days (IR receiver was intermittent) and after several emails later Kogan agreed to take the TV away but without leaving me another so without a TV all weekend (easter) and new one due 5 days later.
Complained to Kogan several times but they seem thick skinned. Their customer support stinks as its based in Melbourne Australia and I am in the UK so getting a response when your 12 hours behind is very frustrating but they seem to be better than most in not providing stock automated answers. However, can't detract from the issue this was a brand new TV and faulty after 48 hours this seems to conflict with what your get in terms of rights/service in the high street!
