Good: Great picture quality; very easy to use, intuitive menus, comprehensive remote control
Bad: Scrolling through programme list could be easier; changing channels is a bit slow
Comment: Granted, it doesn't do all the clever tricks that more expensive players offer, but if all you want is to record the occasional programme, this is made so easy a two-year-old could do it. Also, it worked straight out of the box, and hasn't crashed once in three weeks' use so far (more than can be said for our other two Freeview boxes!). I paid a bargain price for this, but even at the RRP it'd still be excellent value for money. First time I use a 'Goodmans', but may well not be the last...

Good: Dual tuners
Bad: Constantly freezes
Comment: I have had 3 of these and the same problem everytime - freezes up - so though a good little unit quite useless!

Good: The setting up was so simple. I had a Nokia freeview box prior to this which I thought was quite good. Quite apart from the recording feature of the 80GB, the information available on screen with the digital tuner makes my old Nokia seem very old.
Bad: As yet, nothing
Comment: I expected a large clumsy unit from the photo and description given on this site, but I was pleasantly surprised with the appearance of the PVR and the remote is also very user friendly. All in all I think it's the best £139.00 I have spent for a while (I searched high and low but could not find it for £99.00).

Good: Record and watch something else plus record what is comong up in the next few days
Bad: Other live programmes skip when broadcast at the same time as a programme being recorded
Comment: Very good product but I have got the 160gb version made by another company label that looks identical to the Goodmans
