Sony Bravia KDL-26V4000
The HD Ready KDL-26V4000 LCD TV is surprisingly affordable for a Sony Bravia set. Judged by Sony's current standards, it's short on features and looks unglamorous, but it produces some of the best pictures we've seen from a 26-inch TV, with bright, rich colours and deep, convincing black levels

Sony Bravia KDL-52W4500
Having recently liked the performance of Sony's Bravia KDL-46Z4500 LCD TV before being put off by its high price, we took delivery of the much better value KDL-52W4500 with a real sense of anticipation. If it can approach the quality of the 46Z4500 at a much lower price per inch, it'll be just fine by us

Sony is out to impress with its new 200Hz processing system available in the KDL-46Z4500. This upgrade offers some definite improvements in the clarity and fluidity of motion -- the picture quality is not too shabby either. Sony Bravia KDL-40E4000
Sony is clearly attempting to appeal to people with a broader aesthetic with its 40E4000 LCD TV, as its design is anything but the usual slab a black plastic that most people have in their living rooms. With good speaker quality and very watchable DVD upscaling, this TV has much to offer beyond its unique style

Sony's second-generation screens are some of the finest examples of LCD TVs that we've seen. The KDL-32V2000's design uses subtle finishing and superior build quality, while at its core is the latest Bravia Engine, a processing system that's been specifically designed for LCDs. It may be a tad pricey, but ultimately the KDL-32V2000 is worth every penny

Sony's new range of Bravias is here in time for the World Cup and the 40V2000 is a huge improvement from previous Sony LCDs, with a brand-new picture-processing engine and all sorts of other innovative gubbins inside the 40-inch frame. It might not be as striking as other LCDs and connectivity isn't a strong point, but it can't be faulted on picture quality
