"Entirely delightful"
What I like:
Exquisite minimalist design, superb picture across a range of formats, vibrant colours and deep blacks.
What I don't like:
So far very little. HDMI limited to 1080/24p so no maximum upscaled DVDs, but hoping this may be an advantage once I get my Blu-ray player.
Review:
In deciding to take the plunge and purchase a new flatscreen my immediate idea was to go for a max-resolution LCD which was 1080p capable. Having conducted extensive research and spent time viewing a number of TVs, the Pioneer stood out for its design, quality build and superb picture quality. Having bought this TV I must say I am very impressed. SD Freeview pictures are a revelation, upscaled DVDs look superb and I've not even got to try the HDMI's 1080p capabilities yet. Colours are vibrant, black levels are deep, viewing angles are excellent and sound is impressive. I'd never really considered a plasma screen before but this TV has made me an avid Pioneer fan.

On 2 December, Freeview HD launched, at least technically. Sadly, there's no equipment that can receive the broadcasts at the moment, but the channels are certainly up and running
