"Major back-light problems for such an expensive TV."
What I like:
Picture quality in high def (before the back-light issues)
What I don't like:
Philips customer service. Very poor

This would be a great TV apart from the backlight issues, which Philips are hopefully sorting out...

Freeview HD launch: BBC HD and ITV1 HD now available -- sort of
On 2 December, Freeview HD launched, at least technically. Sadly, there's no equipment that can receive the broadcasts at the moment, but the channels are certainly up and running
