"At last an LCD to compete with CRT"
What I like:
Stunning looks and superb picture quality
What I don't like:
Only one hdmi is mean at this price
Review:
I viewed this TV against the usual suspects - Panasonic, Toshiba, Philips and Samsung. The build quality was far better with the Sony - then you turn it on!
I was worried it wouldn't match top-end CRT picture quality but this TV excels in this area. I haven't seen it with a HD signal yet (component video only) but the picture is truly vibrant. My parents have HD and the KDL-32S - displays HD in spectacular fashion - I can't wait to see the 32V!
For what most people would use this TV for - Sky/Freeview - the picture is still stunning. When you connect to component it's like going from Analogue to digital all over again.
In summary a fantastic picture with no real flaws... and Christmas deals are just around the corner...

On 2 December, Freeview HD launched, at least technically. Sadly, there's no equipment that can receive the broadcasts at the moment, but the channels are certainly up and running
