"Absolutely Brilliant"
What I like:
Picture quality, ease of use, features & settings, looks stylish
What I don't like:
Only one HDMI input
Review:
Picture quality with both HD inputs and standard def is the best I've seen yet on a HDTV. The contrast on this HDTV is spectacular as dark colours are so pronounced that it makes viewing such a pleasure, and that's just with default picture settings; once you delve into the picture settings for the analogue/digital pictures as well as each individual AV input, you can get near perfect standard-def pictures (with no artefacts), and gorgeous pictures in HD. The 1080i scaling is handled very well on top of that as well.
The downside is the one HDMI input, which really shouldn't be much of a problem anyway as the majority of people, I'd imagine, will only have one device capable of a HDMI output anyway, if any at all. If you do have more than one, then you can easily add an HDMI switcher to do the job.
All in all, after much searching for the "right HDTV", I chose this one - since having it, the high price I paid for it I most definitely regard as money very well spent.

You might think you know what a PVR is, but in the UK we're really stuck in the past with our digital recording antics. Happily, Virgin Media is bringing TiVo back
