What is it: 40-inch, 1080p LCD TV with freesat tuner
What we think: Sony's first freesat set is one of the best-performing TVs we've seen from the company so far

We like:
Mostly brilliant picture quality; plenty of features and connections; freesat tuner does what it says on the tin
We don't like:
Pictures don't hold up too well if watched from an angle; more expensive than we'd like

We've been trying to find out which format BBC HD would use on Freeview for some time now -- we were surprised to learn the service could use 1080p
