Typical price: £400
What is it: HD Ready, 26-inch LCD TV
What we think: Pretty basic and unglamorous by Sony's current standards, but it's still much better than most of its peers

We like:
Sensible price; good range of connections; impressive pictures; easy to use
We don't like:
Short on features; not the prettiest TV available; no USB or SD card slots
