Typical price: £280
What is it: No-frills, 32-inch, HD Ready LCD TV
What we think: Better than expected, given how cheap it is, but the big brands don't have too much to worry about

We like:
Low price for an HD Ready, 32-inch TV; sound is okay; decent contrast; vibrant colours
We don't like:
Dire motion blur; noisy pictures; colour tone can look strange, especially with standard-definition content
CNET UK judgement:
Although not nearly as bad as you might expect for the price, the Technika LCD32-209's motion-handling flaws are bad enough to ensure that the set should only be considered for casual, second-room use
