Typical price: £3,800
What is it: 65-inch plasma TV with 1080p resolution
What we think: If you're looking for a stellar but affordable monster screen, you'll struggle to top this set

We like:
Superb picture quality; aggressively priced; features galore
We don't like:
Not particularly attractive; some of the video-processing tech can be unhelpful
CNET UK judgement:
Once upon a time, really big TVs tended to do little more with their size than emphasise how inherently poor their pictures were. But, with the Panasonic Viera TH-65PZ800, those days are emphatically over. This screen looks nothing short of sensational with HD material, making it the perfect option for anyone wanting a cinema-scale experience without the hassles associated with projectors
