Typical price: £1,000
What is it: 720p, HD-ready plasma TV with built-in 160GB Freeview PVR
What we think: On paper this is a brilliant TV but in reality the poor Freeview picture quality spoils the whole package

We like:
Styling; integrated PVR is fantastic; good price
We don't like:
Picture quality isn't brilliant, especially on Freeview; some glaring usability issues
You might also need:
HD player or HD TV service
CNET UK judgement:
Nice styling and great features make this a tempting TV to buy, but the picture quality lets the whole thing down, and there are some usability issues that make it a pain to use. Your money would be better spent on a smaller, freesat TV from Panasonic
