Typical price: £2,000
What is it: 42-inch, 1080p LCD TV without built-in Freeview tuner
What we think: While the lack of Freeview will put some people off, this great screen is aimed at people who don't want or need it built in

We like:
Stunning HD picture quality; decent sound; simple to use
We don't like:
Freeview via a separate machine was only decent; high price
Also known as:
Hitachi Wooo
You might also need:
Freeview, Sky or cable box with HDMI out; Blu-ray player or PS3; HDMI switcher
