Typical price: £1,300
What is it: 1080p, 46-inch plasma TV with 100Hz processing
What we think: A great TV with superb HD performance, which doesn't neglect DVDs and even does a respectable job with Freeview

We like:
Superb picture quality; brilliant sound; menus and setup
We don't like:
Boring design; Freeview quality is lacking
You might also need:
Blu-ray; HD games console; Sky HD, freesat or Virgin HD
CNET UK judgement:
Superb picture and sound make this a great choice for any discerning viewer. HD video, games consoles and DVD players all come alive with this TV. If we had to change one thing, it would be the slightly lacklustre Freeview performance
