Typical price: £500
What is it: HD Ready 32-inch LCD TV with three HDMI inputs and dedicated gaming mode
What we think: A good-quality, budget TV set for people who want high definition and plenty of HDMI sockets, but don't need a huge screen

We like:
Gaming mode; three HDMI sockets; picture quality
We don't like:
Out-of-the-box picture settings less than ideal; weak sound; slow remote control response
CNET UK judgement:
If you're looking for a sensibly sized screen, possibly for gaming, this offers everything you'll need plus more. Once you've fiddled with the picture settings, the hi-def picture quality is good, and Freeview performance is decent too.
