There was a time when even a 32-inch LCD TV would cost you an arm, leg, kidney and half your liver. Luckily, these days there's no need to surrender some of your most important limbs and internal organs to get the TV you want.
We've put together a list of some of the best value 32-inch LCD TVs on the market. Each offers something slightly different, but they can all be found for under £600. If you spend some time shopping around online, you're sure to snag a bargain.
We've included the LG 32LT75 because it features a built-in 160GB PVR, which enables you to record your favourite shows without the need of a separate recorder. This TV will be ideal for you if you need a one-box solution. Plus, the integrated nature of this LG means you should get the best possible picture quality from recordings.
If you're looking for the best picture quality for your cash, we think the Panasonic Viera TX-32LMD70 offers the best performance per pound. This TV is from Panasonic's 2007 range, which means it will be replaced soon by a new model. The good news is that it's still a great TV and there are likely to be some discounts available at online stores.
When it comes to low-cost TVs, we're strong believers that the offerings from Samsung and Sharp provide great performance without emptying your wallet. Of the two in this round-up, we'd favour the Samsung LE32R87 because it has a picture quality advantage over the Sharp Aquos LC32AD5E.
With prices dropping all the time, we can't help but wonder what £600 will buy you this time next year. You never know -- it might be possible to get a 32-inch 1080p set for this kind of money by then. Stay tuned; we'll keep you updated.

| Review summary | As one of the cheapest 32-inch LCD TVs we've ever seen, it's hardly surprising to find that the LC32AD5E is neither high on features nor anywhere near Sharp's best LCD performer. But that's not to say it doesn't hold some appeal for shoppers on a tight budget Read full review |
If you're looking for a sensibly sized screen, possibly for gaming, this offers everything you'll need plus more. Once you've fiddled with the picture settings, the hi-def picture quality is good, and Freeview performance is decent too. Read full review |
The LG 32LT75 is a superb way of reducing clutter in your lounge without losing the ability to record your favourite TV channels. Nothing about this TV disappoints apart from the slightly weedy sound Read full review |
This simple television offers great performance with simple set-up and a decent picture from pretty much everything you can throw at it. You won't find any high-tech extras on this screen, but it does what it says on the tin Read full review |
