We like:
Flashy design; lots of connections; user-friendly features; amazing image quality
We don't like:
High price; image can stutter on slow movement
You might also need:
2x HDMI cables; component cable; RGB Scart; digital coaxial cable; USB cable
CNET.co.uk judgement:
Philips' 32PF9731D sets a new benchmark for LCD technology. You'll have to pay for the privilege of class-leading design and performance but you won't be left feeling short-changed
Philips 32PF9731D History

This TV has fantastic picture quality, but it also has the controversial Ambilight technology, which beams different coloured lights on to the back of your wall. Is that something you hanker after, or is it just a gimmick?
