Typical price: £2,300
What is it: HD Ready 50-inch plasma TV with integrated Freeview
What we think: If you've got the room and the cash for it, it's a very good television

We like:
Styling; great picture quality; decent range of video connections
We don't like:
High price; no cables included
You might also need:
2x HDMI cables; component cable; RGB Scart cable; SD memory card; HD DVD or Blu-ray player
CNET UK judgement:
This is a great big-screen television. It's not every living room that can accommodate a 50-inch screen, but if yours can, and you can afford it, then you should add the Panasonic to your wish list
