Typical price: £800
What is it: High-definition LCD TV with 26-inch screen and integrated Freeview
What we think: Panasonic's LCD ticks all the right boxes, with its slightly higher price point justified by picture performance

We like:
Sleek design; high-definition capability; TopUp TV slot for extra digital channels; ease-of-use
We don't like:
No PC input
You might also need:
HDMI cable, component video cable, RGB Scart cable
