Good: Best computing experience I ever had!
Comment: The worlds most advance desktop operating system just got better with OSX Lion and now OSX Mountail Lion coming this summer just to top things off.
Windows 8 to come in 2012 ass well... my prediction from my experience so farr: The change is good, hmmm...just not good enough. It seems as if Microsoft is trying to hard.
Good: Multi touch gestures, mission control, autosave, versions, conversations, mail
Comment: I feel very sorry for windows users now. It's not fair on windows having to compete with lion.
Good: The fact that I can now do the most basic of function which is resize a window from any side
Bad: They did not change much. Saying applications like mail changed is nothing to do with the os, it was just released at the same time. It is like saying microsoft released a new outlook therefore its a new version of windows.
Comment: I was really looking forward to lion but my late 2010 macbook runs far slower on it. Also it now hangs on the login screen when resuming from sleep. All in, I think that the £20 was worth it for the window resizing but thats about it
Good: slickness, autosave, reboots previously open windows when you reboot
Bad: reversed scrolling turns you insane and no way to change back with older mouse button laptops
Comment: mostly good, but reversed scrolling isn't natural for a trackpad like it is with a touchscreen
Good: It's more like the iPad than a computer, I use this on my 2010 mac mini and it's a massive improvement especially the swipes and the full screen apps.
Bad: Despite 4GB of memory it frequently hangs and has to be rebooted to quit especially if your running two or more programmes.
Comment: It is vastly superior to Windows 7 which i have to use at work. It's like the super slick sports car thing you want to show off while Microsoft is the tractor in the barn. It is light years ahead of the opposition and the full screen options are a real benefit as is the swipe method on the flat mouse pad. But already it has glitches and hangs with no escape except a reboot despite a 2010 mac mini with 2.6 processors and 4 gig ram. I love it because it's cool and feels great to use, but it needs more work a d quickly to stop the shine wearing thin too quickly.
Comment: Lion looks very slik and I've herd it has features from the iOS platform
Good: Nice reviews
Bad: needs too much memory
Comment: All the bumph prior to Lion says you need and intel core duo II mac as a minimum. I've got that and the app store won't let me download it cos it says I don't have enough memory - even with the 2gb recommended. Rubbish. Another sycophantic article about Apple from CNetuk.
Good: Sexier UI, more functions, better gestures
Comment: Another amazing operating system release from Apple - much anticipated and lived up to the hype.
