Rory's earliest memory is of taking the back off his radio to see what was inside. His mum wasn't happy. Nowadays he breaks other people's stuff for a living: the latest laptops and even high-tech automobiles crumble and die at his hands.

Nvidia releases Vista DX10 drivers -- finally
Praise the heavens! Nvidia has released its first DirectX 10-certified drivers for Windows Vista. It's about bloomin' time too -- geeks the world over have been tearing their combovers out because they couldn't get Nvidia cards to work properly with Vista.
The drivers work with the GeForce 8 series of graphics cards: the 8800 GTX, 8800 GTS 640MB and 8800 GTS 320MB, all of which are monstrously quick. You can download the driver from this link here -- but be warned: at the time of writing only the 64 bit download was available.
Happy gaming.

Nvidia's Vista drivers are a pile of crap. They were bad before and I installed the new version over the weekend and they were could you believe it even worse! random horizontal lines through external video... colour blocks in video displayed on areas of high white balance and hundreds of random display driver crashes... bycot Nvidia... it's not like they haven't had more than a year to sort their shit out! ATI works on every machine I have tried under Vista. http://gizmodo.com/gadgets/nvidia/pissed-off-gamers-ready-to-sue-nvidia-over-crap-vista-drivers-234718.php

I just wanted to say Vista might not be that pile of sh*t, but yeah he's right with these big companies, you'd think they would have things compatible with Vista by now, it's not it's something extreme to make with these experts. I guess they're loyal to WindowsXP so.
