Good: Build quality and output quality
Bad: Paper tray 1
Comment: This is the usual quality HP printing kit I have come to expect. A pal of mine uses them on his network at work and has rarely had issues. I bought this primarily for my kids to produce their homework on as I am tired of paying out for two lots of inkjet cartridges every 5 minutes. Laser printers are much cheaper when it comes to the total cost of ownership! I am very impressed with the cost, build quality and quality of the output. My only grumble would concern paper tray 1 which folds down out of the front of the machine and could easily be damaged. If you can I would advise you to purchase the optional paper tray 2 which sits under the machine.

Good: Good printing quality, crisp and bright, cheap to buy
Bad: Price of toner, slow speeds in colour and low memory
Comment: Great printer for the money, but watch out... You'll get a chock when it's time to replace the toner, at £70 for each colour, it will be cheaper to buy a new printer than replace all 4! Not what I would call environmently friendly...
Plus: don't expect to be able to print complicated stuff, or large photos, the memory is just too low for that sort of project.
