Good: cheap - relatively easy to use
Bad: expensive to run due to cartridges
Comment: Simple, cheap and fairly easy laser printer/copier - the downside is cartridges don't last long and irritating messages keep popping up to get a new one from the Brother website. When it gets low, it just stops printing - even if you remove the drum and shake the toner, which should give it more life, it won't print any more. I've had HP printers before which are much easier on the toner.
Replacing the cartridge is also messy - you have to remove the drum and insert the new cartridge which has an exposed roller which can leak toner. It's a shame, as apart from the toner rip off, it's not a bad machine - obviously Brother sell it cheap to nail you on the cartridges!
