What is it: Dye-sub printer for 152x102mm photographs
What we think: That something so ugly can produce such gorgeous prints is a mystery to us, but the HiTi shines even in comparison to high street developers

CNET.co.uk judgement:
It's the ugliest printer we've ever seen, but it gives birth to prints that shimmer. We're hesitant to endorse something that looks this much like a giant cheese-grater, but the HiTi's photographs are among the best we've seen. You might want to consider a different dye-sublimation printer if you're really stretched for space, but if you can stand staring at this machine it delivers excellent photographs
