Good: Simply the best sounding mp3 player around

Bad: Interface not always very user friendly

Comment: Tried and have owned i-pods, samsung, i river and archos mp3 players. This is not the prettiest, smallest or easiest to operate player around but quite simply the best sounding. It beats i pod nano and touch hands down, samsung does not have the detail and i river clix2 comes close but is still not quite there. The level of clarity, controlled bass power and detail is simply astonishing. With the Shure SE 530 simply the best you can do for your ears.
An added plus is the ridiculously long battery life. For trips up to one week no need to take a charger at all even when glued to the thing. Jet audio is a bit clumsy as far as software goes but again seems to improve sound quality when listening to music over the computer compared to win-amp or media player. In any event one is not bound to a particular software as everything works with drag and drop with this player. Great piece of equipment and with some changes in the user interface perfect. eg. when browsing through your music the display automatically reverts to the track that is playing after about 5 sec if one does not make a choice which can be annoying as you then start going through all the different levels again.
