Good: Call reconigtion
Bad: Lack of Wi-Fi
Comment: This phone is excellent and packs loads of features for its size. It's well made and looks cool. The tracker ball and mouse are a great idea. I love the voice recongition at the side of the phone - as well as recording your voice to contacts it also does it to eg running programmes or camera or copilot (if fitted) you just say the word running programmes and they initialise straght away, and it actually records your voice, not its own interpretation. An all-round brilliant MDA just lacking wi-fi.

Good: Compact, the aesthetics, handy little radio
Bad: NO Wi-Fi!!!?? or 3G and processing speed only 200mhz. Annoyingly no headphone socket, so stuck with the very average headset provided. Fiddly micro SD card under sim card slot
Comment: Some nice alterations and improvements from the Compact II but not really worth upgrading to if that's what you have. A nice little PDA that doesn't look like you're holding a brick to your ear, but would really have been considerably better had the phone had Wi-Fi or 3G. Just got the Compact III after my Compact II was broken. Personally, I'm waiting for T-mobile to take on the HTC 3600 (if they do) as its considerably faster (400Mhz) has Wi-Fi and therefore capable of running skype and reducing my overseas phone bills. Compact III is not a bad phone at all, especially with co-pilot but a few too many weaknesses to earn it a great review. Ideal if you're only slightly techy but not if you want to be at the cutting edge of PDA technology and use all the facilities that that can offer.
