Bad: location of micro sd slot - not easy to get to

Good: Nifty size and full of features

Bad: Texting is a pain in the arse

Comment: I'm just going to leave a quick note about the Orbit. I've had mine for a week now and loving it, every positive review I've read is justified. The only problem I've found is texting on it - you just can't do it as quickly as on a regular keypad phone. With a stylus it's fine, but I'm not sure how I'll manage when I'm drunk, slouching against a wall at 2.10am. I imagine I'll go through a fair few styli(?)! At least the GPS will get me home. Check out SPB Full Keyboard - it puts a keyboard across the screen so you can type with your thumbs - it's the best thing I've found for texting. Cheerio!

Good: Great gadget, lots of features

Bad: No sat nav!

Comment: BEWARE: this phone DOES NOT come with “free sat nav software” as standard. It only applies to specific tariffs and if you buy direct on-line from O2. If you use a reseller or other retailer you probably will not get the software; you need to check what you are getting.

This was not, and is still not clear on many adverts and reviews for this product and I feel I was misled.

Apart from that my review would have been a 7.

The phone is a great gadget and has many useful features. It is also really small, light and compact for what it offers.

One noticeable issue with the phone is its reaction time to do things. It is just a bit slow to open programs or move between screens. The sat nav software (that I have now purchased) is quite slow to start up and it can sometimes take several minutes to get a position. But when working it is great and the reasonable screen size makes it quite easy to see and use. The voice commands are also clear and adequately loud even in a noisy car.

Note: CoPilot does not have maps of Eastern Europe in the version for this phone.

If they could speed the phone up it would be much more fun to use.
