Good: Looks good
Bad: unreliable
Comment: Had one for about 18 months only used as backup for laptop and when away on hols. Turned on couple of weeks ago - nothing noticed the ac adapter light was flickering so unplugged it. Felt the underneath of case VERY hot.
Obviously it has cooked itself not sure due to ac adapter or the machine but dead as a dodo.
Repair will probably not be an option (too expensive so bin it and get another netbook but not Samsung.

Good: it looks good, the track pad works perfect, its upgradeable to 2gb RAM. The battery seems to last for ever!
Bad: nothing really
Comment: Ive had mine for 14 months now and it is still working like a dream, i do aim to upgrade it as somethimes if you have a lot of programs running it can slow down a little but its expected as after all it is a netbook.
I would recommend this netbook to anyone.

Good: look, USB-charger, card reader
Bad: shiny screen, not-long life battery as advertised!!
Comment: I quite like it when I first bought it, because I expected to use it with a long-life battery. But, then, I am very disappointed when really use this N-140, as its battery' s life is only up to 5.5 to 6 hours at most for MSOffice and a bit less for Internet! It advertisement said something like 7, or in some reviews, even 10 'working hours', not just standby! Though I like it in some ways, I feel like I was cheated and will think very hard to get a new Samsung netbook or else, :-(
I love to pass this comment to Samsung to realise this problem and how they disappoint their customer(s)!!
