Netbooks: Credit OLPC, not just Asus
Although it was Psion that coined the term 'netbook' before the turn of the Millenium, it was Intel that repopularised it (or, let's be honest, popularised it at all) last year. It had worked with the OLPC organisation on the XO project, but ditched its affiliation over disagreements about the development and pricing of Intel's competitor, the Classmate PC. Gears of War 2: More guts, more emotion
Gears of War 2 just sold 2 million copies in its opening weekend, a figure made more impressive by the fact that it's exclusive to Xbox 360. Having just completed it, I can almost guarantee every one of those 2 million copies are now living in happy homes. Click here for more

Fable II: Adultery, whistling and a dog
Last night I dug up a condom my dog found, then stole someone's wife and slept with her in my gypsy trailer, after impressing her by whistling and showing off a severed head I've been carrying around. iTunes glitch censors Katy Perry, ignores Cannibal Corpse
If you know me, you'll know I hate Katy Perry, and love death metal. So it was with great pleasure that I see iTunes is 'accidentally' censoring Perry, among other monstrosities, and leaving alone such controversial personal favourites as Cannibal Corpse. Click here for more

Four essential podcasts you need to hear
I subscribe to about 25 podcasts, all of which I listen to. Some are too weird to mention (Waller FM, I'm looking at you) some are accessible enough for my girlfriend to happily watch with me (Diggnation). And some are such bloody obvious choices you should be sectioned for not listening to them already (Crave, BOL, TWiT, Cranky Geeks). Click here for more

Woo Audio WA2 headphone amplifier
Review To put it simply, the Woo Audio WA2 is the best headphone amplifier in its price category by a mile. It provides an experience that is completely luscious -- deep, smooth bass, rich vocal reproduction, and a sweet, spacious, notably airy treble that's smashing for live classical performances, although can handle anything you throw its way. Superb
