O2 gets 3G iPhone, pays for ads really early
Within a couple of hours of the iPhone 3G being announced, O2's sponsored links for the new handset went live on Google in the UK. Click here for more

WWDC '08 needs a 3G iPhone, for Apple's sake
All this talk of the 3G iPhone is purely speculative, with nothing confirmed from Cupertino. Okay, it's highly likely we'll see the 3G model launched next week at WWDC, but it's not guaranteed. Yet the tech world -- not to mention Apple fanboys -- is acting as if it was announced weeks ago. Click here for more

Letter to Oxford English Dictionary: Redefine 'unlimited'
I've decided to write an open letter to the Oxford English Dictionary to suggest it adds an extra definition to its entry for 'unlimited', so consumers can realise that 'unlimited' also means 'limited'. Click here for more

Vote for me: I'll ban full-screen software installation
There are many things in the world that need to be seen in full-screen mode to be appreciated: videogames and Web browsers are just two. But please, software developers, one thing that should be banished from the face of the Earth, and that's full-screen installs. They're pointless, they don't benefit anybody and in 2008 they're about as welcome in my home as Tracy Emin -- a woman I will one day have jailed for being a demented waste of blood and organs. NIN give away another album. How many more?
There's no such thing as a free lunch, but there is a free album. After offering part of their instrumental album Ghosts I-IV for free, alongside various paid-for ways to buy the album in full, Nine Inch Nails have just released their new album The Slip completely free, making us wonder how many new albums NIN have actually recorded. Grand Theft Auto IV? No thanks
As Earth's videogaming minions pushed Grand Theft Auto IV into their Xbox 360s and PSTriples, I set Nirvana's harmonically indeterminate milestone album Nevermind playing, and loaded up Team Fortress 2. Click here for more

YouTube cat lover saves lives, attracts women
If you love cats and YouTube, chances are you've seen The Engineer's Guide To Cats. It's my favourite video of 2008 and it's just ticked past 1,000,000 views since February. But seeing creator Paul Klusman's other videos, it's clear there's much more to him than being fanatic about felines -- the guy's nothing short of a cat live-saver. I caught up with him in an email interview. Click here for more

Student? You're probably a TV criminal then
The TV Licensing agency is convinced my little brother is a common criminal. He's not, but he's been threatened with court. He studies psychology at Lincoln University. He's a law-abiding citizen, having only been handcuffed once for carrying a lethal weapon, even though it was an umbrella. To be fair, the police did apologise for the mistake. Click here for more

Sennheiser IE 7 sound-isolating earphones
Review If you read our reviews, you'll know that as far as mid-range sound-isolating earphones go, we have a soft spot for the Klipsch Custom-3s. Well, now we have been introduced to the Sennheiser IE 7s, and boy are they giving the Klipsches a run for their money. The IE 7s are reasonably-priced, superb all-rounders
Sennheiser IE 8 sound-isolating earphones

Woo Audio WA2 headphone amplifier
Review To put it simply, the Woo Audio WA2 is the best headphone amplifier in its price category by a mile. It provides an experience that is completely luscious -- deep, smooth bass, rich vocal reproduction, and a sweet, spacious, notably airy treble that's smashing for live classical performances, although can handle anything you throw its way. Superb
