Good: Nice size
Bad: Background noise (like untuned radio) starts randomly - sometimes rebooting helps, sometimes not.
Comment: I could mention a few other irritations, so my overall view is try a different brand.

Good: Sound
Bad: Everything else
Comment: This is the most infuriating player I have owned to date. You spend hours trying to fathom why certain songs just refuse to show up in the library or even transfer to the player, even when they are a supported codec. You wonder why when transferring files to the player it suddenly decides to have a fit and causes your computer to either lock-up or crash. It takes ages to set up and get going, but when you have finally done it, when you think to yourself 'yes, its done' the damn thing needs charging. But this isn't the reason for this player being the most annoying I have so far owned. The most annoying thing is, that once you have overcome the huge mountain of problems and finally get to sit down and listen to it through a set of good quality earbuds, it is one the very best sounding players around. I have owned players from Creative, Sony, Philips and iRiver, and I can assure you that nothing I have owned sounds anywhere near as good the YH-820. With SRS set-up correctly it sounds absolutely fantastic, far better than the iPlod. I used my Behyer Dynamic earbuds for day-to-day use and they sounded excellent until the microdrive broke. Never dropped it, just turned it on one day and was presented with a message telling me that the player couldn't HDD initialise.
So if you have money to burn and want what I feel is the best sounding player around then get the Samsung YH-820, otherwise steer well clear, especially from factory refurbished models, they are very common...
