Comment: @Stumpy68 - I think your best bet would be an android tablet, along the lines of the dell streak... I dont know which would be best value, you'd obviously need to shop around, but most of them have cameras and wi-fi, and not being apple, they let you do whatever you want with them :)

Alternatively, you could go for a contract phone with 3 - they give you free skype (although thats calls only that are free) but it might be better than a poke in the eye.

I am sure that the iPod touch's FaceTime can only be done between iPhone 4's and mac computers. You would need to enquire at your local computer store if yours would be able to do that.

Comment: I have a question really, not a review.
Can I use this to video call my Toshiba laptop, say on skype for instance?
The wife is going into Hospital soon for about 8 weeks for Chemotherapy. WiFi is available in her room, but I don't really want to pay out for a second Laptop, and am wondering of this I Pad Touch will let me do it?
If not this, then what is available to use via WiFi??

Good: Great screen, fast, good music quality

Bad: Scratches really easily, camera if naff

Comment: I love it the apps are great its lightning fast but apple have got to get rid of that shiny aluminium back its horrible

Good: Apple have taken the impressive multi touch interface and put it on the Nano

Bad: Gone back a step, no camera anymore, confusing way to operate it

Comment: the iPod nano is cute and a sleek miniature device, but the lack of a video camera hurts a bit and takes away it's potential to do well in the marketplace .

Good: fast, new design, HD video, better speaker

Bad: scratchable back, not the best camera

Comment: This is the best Ipod so far with great improvements over the previous touches. The speaker is also miles better and the display is gorgeous. Weel worth it

Good: Screen, Apps, Internet, Dimensions, HD Video

Bad: Battery, Chrome Back, Software, Price, Speed

Comment: Some people might be critical because i said software but on my ipod safari closes down sometime and the video app loves just shutting down, its also for some reason not as quick as my old iphone 3gs. And Finally the home button dosen't work sometimes or sometime taps twice when you tap once, Quite Annoying especially if you want wake up the ipod. Now all these problems my just be my ipod but without them i would have given it 4.5. I am just saying that it is not the most reliable phone.

Good: Retina Display, App Store right off your iPod, Video Playback

Bad: Price, Chrome finish

Comment: I actually had a go on this iPod. I think its great and hoping to get one in the next week or so. I do recomment getting a case just so the back doesn't get scratched. You shouldn't need a screen protector as its quite scratch restiant. App Store, 3.5" 960x640 Resolution Retina Display, Dual Cameras. Its a must have
