LG Flatron L1960TR
LG's stylish Black Jewel monitor is the leader of the pack in terms of high contrast. It produces a contrast ratio of 3,000:1, making it great for seeing all the detail in hi-def movies, and a 2ms response time ensures no blurring

LG Fantasy Ring
LG's Fantasy Ring is awesome to look at and has picture quality to match. We found it difficult to fault during everyday desktop use or when watching movies, such was its excellent picture quality

LG Flatron M203WA

Sony SDM-S205F
We were impressed by the S205F's near-flawless performance, although for its price we were disappointed at the lack of landscape/portrait pivoting abilities and the basic assortment of inputs. Other monitors provide similar performance for considerably less

ViewSonic VX2025wm
The ViewSonic VX2025wm is a great monitor for light graphics and design work, or anyone who needs to see multiple documents or spreadsheets on-screen. It packs good-sounding speakers and excellent gaming performance for just under £300, which makes it the most affordable 20-inch widescreen monitor we've seen
