Review:
I bought this monitor from the Dell.co.uk website for £200 in October 2008. I liked the price and size and I know that Dell is a great monitor manufacturer. It arrived two weeks later and had solid packaging and a simple set up. VGA and DVI cable included; average quality. I can say that when I turned it on it was a great impression, bright sharp image. Unfortunately, in RGB and HDMI modes there is a slight flicker when displaying certain darker colours particularly in the dark greys. Something that really annoys me is the HDMI audio fade in feature: this means that if the screen does not receive audio it stops sound, when it receives them again, it fades in gradually for about 7 seconds which is irritating when playing a game on my Xbox 360.
Apart from the above annoying parts, the rest of it was worth every penny; solid construction, decent image production on HDMI and RGB, excellent in DVI and good menu and setup. If I had known about the HDMI audio issue, I would not have bought it so this is a warning to gamers or movie enthusiasts.
For the money I paid, it really was a steal, you would have struggled to find a better monitor for the same price, I'll definitely be back for more Dell monitors in the future.

Low on features, besides its good 3D capability. In 2D mode, its performance is solid but unexceptional
