Review:
Like the CNet reviewer already said, image quality is superb! I work for an advertising agency and I bought 16 Eizo S2411W monitors a few months ago. These are almost twice as expensive and I didn't want to spend that much for home use so I read some reviews and bought the LG L245WP. I don't understand why the reviewer calls this monitor expensive; I paid €630 (£428) which I think is very cheap for a 24" monitor. OK, so Samsung just released the 245BW which is a bit cheaper but it's got a TN panel which has a MUCH smaller viewing angle and colours aren't nearly as good as this monitor. It's a bit tricky to calibrate this thing because the contrast button also has influence on the backlight but once you know how things work it's easy to set up and get the best possible quality out of it. What I like very much is that it has absolutely no input lag so playing fast paced games is great. The Eizos we have at work have pretty bad input lag making them totally unsuitable for fast games.
I don't know why the CNet reviewer got a Sub-D cable with this monitor. Mine came with a DVI-HDMI cable so there was no need to buy an extra cable.
This thing is great value for money!!!
