Typical price: £1,049
What is it: 23-inch LCD monitor
What we think: Apple's 23-inch Cinema HD Display is low on extras and high on price. Still, one look at this gorgeous LCD and you'll be sold on it

"Fundamentally flawed"
What I like:
A beautiful designed product. Beautiful colors, very still image.
What I don't like:
It just stopped working after a bit more than 2 years. No refund from Apple.
Review:
In January 2006 I bought this very beautiful product. I bought it because the image is completely still, and the colors are wonderful. After being a happy owner for 2 years and a few months the screen suddenly stopped giving an image. After a while it came back for a few days.. and then it stopped again. I had the product send to Apple. They confirmed the malfunction, it wasn't the powersupply, they told me they needed to replace the central unit (this is basically the screen without the housing), which would cost me almost as much as buying a new cinema display.
I was very disappointed. Ok, my garantee was just over, but this is not the service you expect from a product in this price class. A letter with my complaint to Apple did not help me anything.
Some research on the net showed I'm not only owner of a problematic cinema display. Please consider this before you buy this product.

Low on features, besides its good 3D capability. In 2D mode, its performance is solid but unexceptional
