If you ignore the rather basic, motion-controlled games that the F305 comes with, you'll find this budget handset has plenty to appreciate. It's attractively designed and solidly built, while also offering excellent call quality and surprisingly good battery life

Sony Ericsson W205 Walkman

You wouldn't flash it around down the pub, but the W205 Walkman is a decent music phone for those on a budget. Its sound quality is good, you can record tracks from the FM tuner, and its slider design is fairly slick. A bigger screen would've been welcome, but you can't complain too much about a phone this cheap

Samsung Lucido S7220

Samsung's Lucido offers up an excellent range of features, including a fabulous little AMOLED screen, which makes watching your 5-megapixel camera footage a pleasure. It's very resistant to fingerprints too, if that bothers you, and the microSD slot and GPS round out a perfectly decent 3G phone
