LG KG920

As a phone it's not much to shout about -- it's reasonably large, is crammed with buttons and the screen could be bigger -- but if you want a mobile that takes good-quality photos, this is well worth considering

The LG P7200 is a clamshell awash with features, such as a 2-megapixel camera with auto-focus, a swivel screen, an MP3 player and a memory expansion slot. Its design is not up to the finesse of its competitors but overall this is a decent mid-range phone that delivers clear audio on calls and takes decent photos

LG U880

Pink, it seems, is the theme of the moment -- LG is the next in line to follow the trend with its recent 3G handset, the U880. You don't have to opt for pink. The clamshell U880 is also available in silver and black. But you do have to go to 3 to get this model, as, at the time of writing, the network has an exclusive deal

LG C3300

We were initially prejudiced against the C3300 because of its 'made for women' marketing, but it won us over. It is small, and maroon is suspiciously close to pink, but the handset redeems itself by being easy to use and good at the basics. If you just want to make calls, send text messages and take basic snapshots, the C3300 is a good-value option
