Acer beTouch E200
Running version 6.5 of Microsoft's mobile operating system, the touchscreen beTouch E200 is something of a rarity among Windows Mobile smart phones -- rather than a Qwerty keyboard, it has a slide-out keypad, which works surprisingly well. The E200 also feels speedy and solidly built for a phone at this low price

Acer beTouch E101
The beTouch E101 budget smart phone offers a touchscreen, Windows Mobile 6.5, good call quality and a number of social-networking apps. But, while Acer has cemented a reputation for making decent low-cost laptops, can it pull off the same trick with this handset?

Acer neoTouch S200
The neoTouch S200's build quality could be better and some of its Acer-branded apps are rather buggy, but this touchscreen smart phone, running Windows Mobile 6.5, still has plenty to offer. Chief among its attractions are its speedy 1GHz Snapdragon processor and impressive, high-resolution display

Acer Tempo M900
Running Windows Mobile 6.1, the Tempo M900 is a relatively bulky smart phone. But that has its advantages -- the screen is one of the largest we've seen on such a device, and the keys on the slide-out Qwerty keyboard are also relatively big. Its performance isn't too shoddy either

Acer Tempo X960
Among Acer's first forays into touchscreen smart phone territory, the Tempo X960 on paper looks like a Windows Mobile 6.1 device that ticks all the right boxes. With HSDPA and Wi-Fi connectivity for speedy Web browsing, can it strike fear into the hearts of its rivals?

Acer Tempo DX900
If you want a Windows Mobile smart phone with support for dual SIM cards, the Acer Tempo DX900 is currently the only option available in the UK. A competent handset, it does a good job of handling two SIMs, and its touchscreen is fairly responsive, but its design won't inspire envy
