Motorola Rokr E8
The Motorola Rokr E8 is a smashing handset, both for calls and playing music. Unlike many other music phones, the E8 has included a 3.5mm headphone socket so you can use your own headphones. Its superb audio quality and full-bodied music playback make it a cut above the rest

Motorola Z10
Motorola is flexing its smart phone muscles with the bendy Z10. Similar to the Rizr Z8 in design, the Z10 includes upgrades like HSDPA and in-phone video shooting and editing. It's a good performer too -- the audio quality during calls was absolutely superb

Motorola U9
If you're looking for a fashion phone with that bow-chicka-wow-wow factor, look no further than the Motorola U9. You'll fill up on eye candy with one glance at this handset, with its delicate curves and flashy colour. Its ridged keypad and friendly interface make the deal even sweeter

Motorola Rizr Z8
Motorola's Rizr V8 has a clever mechanism that enables it to bend towards your mouth and ear when you slide it open. It also boasts a newly designed interface and benefits from HSDPA, so you can browse the Web at super-quick speeds

Motorola Razr 2 V8
The V8 is what Razr fans have wanted for years -- a true sequel to the V3, but thinner and with more features, such as a glossy metal casing and touch-sensitive music buttons on the outer screen. Can it live up to the most successful phone ever?

Motorola Q 9
The Motorola Q9 breaks away from the thin clamshell design we know a little too well and is a slim, BlackBerry-style device that features a full Qwerty keypad and Windows Mobile 6

Motorola Motofone F3
Motorola's new Motofone F3 is the phone many people are looking for -- one without all the fancy-pants extras. There's no camera, no Internet and none of that multimedia nonsense, just calls, texts and great battery life. What could possibly go wrong?

Motorola Motorazr Maxx V6
The Motorola Maxx is a very stylish handset that's great for connecting to the Web on the move, thanks to the large, brightly lit screen and its support for speedy downloads. Its menu system takes a bit of getting used to, though

Motorola Rizr Z3 preview
The Rizr strays from Motorola's classic clamshell design: it's a slider phone. Fortunately, it still retains Motorola's eye for style and comes with a decent all-rounder feature set -- a 2-megapixel camera, an MP3 player, expandable memory and stereo Bluetooth support

Motorola Krzr K1
The Krzr K1 is part of the Razr family, but it represents a significant step forward for Motorola. It has an improved interface and keypad layout that make it much more enjoyable to use. The front surface is very shiny though, and picks up fingerprints like a crime-scene investigator

Motorola Razr V3im
The Motorola Razr V3im is the Razr V3i with iTunes on it. The most obvious differences are that the handset is the colour burgundy and there's a dedicated iTunes button in place of the messaging key. The iTunes software is streets ahead of any other MP3 system on a phone, but it's limited to just 100 songs

Motorola Slvr L6
The Motorola Slvr L6 is a budget version of the Slvr L7. It looks similar, and at 11mm thick it's even slimmer than the L7, but some of the features have been downgraded -- it doesn't have a memory card slot, for instance. But it's better value than the L7, if you're after a slim, simple phone

Motorola Razr V3i
Motorola has tried to breathe new life into an old handset by beefing up a few of its features. Always a tricky thing to pull off, especially when the original was well received, Motorola hasn't achieved total success. Yes, the design is still cool, but the improvements are small in scale and we'd have liked more

Motorola Slvr L7
The Slvr is essentially a candybar format of the Razr. With all the standard features, distinctive styling and a very waif-like overall format, it's appealing if you don't need state of the art capabilities from your handset -- and it shades under the magic 100g barrier, too

Motorola Razr V3x
The V3x is like a middle-aged version of the Razr -- it's learnt a lot of new tricks, but has grown around the middle too. It's not quite so breathtakingly razor-like anymore, but it does 3G video calls, music playback and 2-megapixel photos. All this media takes its toll on the battery, though

Motorola Razr V3 Pink
No other phone says, 'I love pink,' with as much passion as the hot pink Razr. Technologically it has little to boast about, but it's slim, sexy and unashamedly pink

Motorola Pebl
Unusual handset designs are not exactly rare, but the Pebl is more unusual than most in that it's minimalist rather than flashy, curvy rather than angular, matte black rather than any-colour shiny. Its features suffer in comparison to most recent phones -- the camera is only VGA -- but this is about style, not substance

Motorola Rokr E1
The most notable thing about the Rokr E1 is not its oddly spelt name, but the fact that it's the first handset to incorporate Apple's iTunes software, thereby making it into a phone-cum-iPod. If you're a customer of the iTunes Music Store, this is currently the only mobile phone that'll play the music you've purchased.

Motorola Razr V3 Black
The Razr doesn't have the same cachet now everyone has one, but it's still a great phone if you're more interested in style and convenience than high-end features, and the black version is better looking than the silver original
