What is it: Affordable touchscreen phone
What we think: Attractive and relatively cheap, but too feature-deficient to be an iPhone killer

"Almost, but not quite"
What I like:
Responsive screen and good looks.
What I don't like:
The issues, every one of them drives me mad.
Review:
At first I loved this phone, and then Id had it for over a day, when I try texting with the phone on the side to bring up the QWERTY keyboard, it sometimes deletes words, not any particular words, just anything when it feels likie it. Of course this is if it responds to you turning it on the side, which is a bit hit and miss, and then the crashes, Gosh, those crashes... Don't get me wrong, I don't abuse my phone, Ive never dropped it, and I don't think it's too much to ask to actually have a phone that stays on and does what you tell it to. This one... Well you don't even have to ask it to do something for it to crash it just, does it when it feels like it, as with everything else, it's all sort of done as and when the phone is ready.
I also had a few problems when I put some songs on there from my PC, even though they were MP3 format the phone didn't recognise them as MP3 and didn't want to support them, this in turn made my videos unplayable... A quick restart and its all fine and dandy.
As a phone:
Yes it does make calls, although the microphone does pick your voice up very well and everyone has learnt to put me on loud speaker.
Yes, it does send text messages, although maybe not everything you wrote yourself.
And yes, it does recieve calls and texts, if you can keep it on long enough.
I did speak to another Cookie owner, and she has the same problems as me.
I wouldn't have a problem if it weren't for the fact my old phone out shines it... Sony Ericsson S500i in purple if you're wondering. :(
